Patricie Mackova and sophomore
Nicha Kanpai finished in the top 20 to lead Maryland at the Big Ten Women's Golf Championships Sunday at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Md.
Kanpai and Mackova both finished +1 in the 54-hole event and tied for 17th. Maryland finished seventh out of the 14 teams with its team score of 873 (298-287-288), which was +9 overall.
Kanpai led Maryland in Friday's first round with a score of 71. She shot an even 72 in the second round Saturday and a 74 Sunday. Mackova bounced back after shooting a 77 in the first round Friday to go even Saturday. She had the Terps' best round of the weekend Sunday with a 68. She tallied seven birdies in the round.

Virginia Bossi tied for 23rd with a score of 219 (77-70-72), which was +3. Fifth-year
Maria Vittoria Corbi shot a 224 (74-73-77), which was +8 overall. Junior
Panassaya Somchit earned a score of 230 (77-79-74) and senior Karla Elena Vázquez Setzer shot a 231 (76-76-79).
Maryland will learn its NCAA Regional selection during the NCAA Women's Golf Selection Show Wednesday at 2 p.m. ET on the Golf Channel.
