Terps Wrap Up Day Two of Big Ten Outdoor Championships with Two More Scorers

ANN ARBOR, MI - The Maryland track and field team wrapped up day one of competition at the Big Ten Outdoor Track and Field Championships, with Jeff Kline, Jennessa Wolfe, Eric Albright, and Kevin Collins delivering standout performances for the Terps squad.

Kline secured points for the Terps squad as well, with his throw of 18.34m being enough for sixth place in the men's shot put.

Wolfe capped off a stellar freshman season by finishing in the points in women's high jump, clearing 1.65m and finishing in a tie for 8th place.

Albright ran 1:49.10 in the men's 800m prelims, finishing in sixth place and qualifying for the finals.

Collins qualified for his second finals of the championships, running 10.47 seconds in the men's 100m prelims, winning his heat and qualifying for the finals.

Freshman Armanie Coleman ran 11.89 seconds in the women's 100m prelims
Kami Joi Hickson and Emma Pegg competed in the women's 800m, running 2:10.63 and 2:12.75
Nyla Cherry leaped 5.31m in women's long jump
Kayla Thorpe competed in her second event of the championships, tossing 14.37m in the women's shot put
Sam Payne ran in the women's 400m prelims, running 56.59 seconds
