
Terps Wrap Up Regular Season With Loss To Penn State

Maryland (34-22, 10-14 B1G) scored first and led 4-2 in the bottom of the third inning, but Penn State (26-23, 12-12 B1G) outscored the Terps 17-3 the rest of the way to secure the win.
Brayden Martin hit his first career home run in the game. He put the Terps on the board in the bottom of the first inning with a solo shot to left field. The freshman finished the game going 2-for-4 with two runs.
Eddie Hacopian and Ben Nardi also hit home runs for Maryland. Hacopian hit two, recording his second multi-home run game of the season. The first was a three-run homer and the second was a solo shot. He went 3-for-5 with four RBIs and two runs and has nine home runs on the year.
Nardi hit his second home run as a Terp. It was a solo shot to center field to break Penn State's scoring run. Kevin Keister drove in the other run for Maryland. He finished the game going 2-for-5.B3| An absolute laser from @EddieHacopian

With the loss, Maryland did not qualify for the Big Ten Tournament.
