COLLEGE PARK, MD - The seniors and alumni were recognized under the stars at Maryland's last home track meet of the season.
An impressive outing by Andrew Harmon launched him to the number one overall spot in men's hammer throw. He threw a 61.68 and now has the program record for the event.
Eric Albright finished with a 1:48.26 time in the men's 800m which is now his personal best, finished number one overall and a program best.
Anna Coffin competed in the women's 1500m and finished for the first time under a 4:20 time. She finished first place with a time of 4:19.99.
Other Highlights:
- Morgan Graham also stepped into the circle for women's discus and hammer. She launched 53.31 in discus which is now number three all-time.
- Rhys Allen stepped back into the circle for men's discus and threw 51.94m and finished in the number one spot.
- Maryland finished in all top three spots in the 100m dash. Collins finished with a 10.44 which earned him a first place finish and improved on his number seven all-time record. Ofotan came in second at 10.63, Leach finished third with a 10.73.
- Tyler Baruch competed in the men's long jump and finished with a distance of 7.35m and finished first in the event.
- Armanie Coleman, Ni-Ann Cross, Kyra Lyles, Jewel Ofotan, and Ashley Thomas competed in the women's 100m. Coleman came in at 11.73 which was good for a first place finish in the event.
- Thomas also competed in the women's 100m hurdles and finished at 15.01 and finished second in the event.
- Kevin Collins finished strong again in the 200m with a time of 21.22 and Leach finished with a season best 21.51.
- Abedin also competed in the men's 400m and crossed the finish line at 49.12 which placed him third overall in the event.
- Samantha Payne won the 400m dash in a season best time of 54.87. Emma Pegg clocked in at 57.71 in her first collegiate 400m race.
- Tolulope Akinduro finished with a season best time of 1:02.36 in 400m hurdles
- Matt De Haas ran his second fastest 800m time clocking in at 1:50.22. Mojuba Shonekan ran a season best time of 1:54.46.
- Kami Joi Hickson finished second in the 800m crossing the line in 2:09.01. Sophia Zell ran a 2:13.96 which is her personal best in the event.
- Anthony Petrillo and Max Worley competed in the men's 1500m. Worley finished with a 3:54.79 which was good for a fourth place finish and a personal best in the event. Petrillo finished with a time of 4:01.11
- Amanda Eliker, Katie Ericson, Hannah Mack, Kirstin Nichols, Katerina Talanova, AnnaMarie Tretola, and Zell competed in the women's 1500m. Zell clocked in with her second personal best of the evening at 4:34.63. Eliker came in at 4:34.69, Talanova clocked in at 4:44.68, Nichols clocked in at 4:46.82, Ericson finished with a 4:54.86, Mack finished with a 4:58.11, and Tretola finished with a time of 5:01.24.
- Bryce Middleton competed in the men's high jump and finished with a height of 1.93m.
- Jennessa Wolfe competed in the women's high jump and finished with a height of 1.68m.
- Akinduro and Nyla Cherry competed in the women's long jump. Akinduro finished with a distance of 5.54m and Cherry finished 5.39.
- Jayla Bynum and Kayla Thorpe competed in the women's shot put. Bynum launched a 15.63m and Thorpe threw a 14.69m which puts her ninth all-time for the event.
- Payne, Teasley, Jewel Ofotan, and Coleman also competed in the women's 4x100m and finished first in the event. Cross, Thomas, Lyles, and Cherry competed alongside them and finished in second place

"Tonight was a fantastic night on the track. On top of breaking two program records, we welcomed back many of our esteemed alumni, and celebrated the senior class."
