COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Maryland women's basketball program has announced that it will embark on a 11-day tour of Croatia this summer from June 24-July 4. The trip will span four cities and will feature Maryland playing in two exhibition games against international teams.
Maryland will visit Zagreb, the Istrian Coast, Split, and Dubrovnik with stops in Slovenia and Montenegro during the tour.
"Foreign trips provide such a unique opportunity for our student-athletes," said head coach Brenda Frese. "Our goal is to give all of our student-athletes amazing life experiences during their time at Maryland. These trips are a great chance for us to bond, see part of the world and to prepare for the upcoming season."
Highlights throughout the trip, along with game recaps, will be provided through www.umterps.com and on X, Facebook and Instagram.
