What's UP
- Maryland is coming off an 83-68 win at Wisconsin Sunday. The Terps were without starters Saylor Poffenbarger and Sarah Te-Biasu. They outscored the Badgers 21-8 in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. Bri McDaniel and Shyanne Sellers each scored 21 points, Kaylene Smikle added 18 and Christina Dalce scored 15.

Shyanne Sellers was named to the Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll Monday. She averaged 23.5 points, 63% from the field and 89.5% from the free throw line in a close loss to No. 4 USC and a gritty win at Wisconsin.

The Terrapins welcome Big East Co-Defensive Player of the Year Christina Dalce, Atlantic 10 Player of the Year Sarah Te-Biasu, All-Big Ten First Team honoree Kaylene Smikle, All-SEC Freshman Team honoree Saylor Poffenbarger, as well as Mir McLean, Amari DeBerry and Isimenme Ozzy-Momodu.
- Maryland also welcomes three freshmen in Ava McKennie, Kyndal Walker and Breanna Williams. All three won championships in high school.
- The Terrapins return All-Big Ten honorees Shyanne Sellers and Bri McDaniel, as well as Emily Fisher, Emma Chardon and Allie Kubek for the 2024-25 season.
- Sellers was named to the 10-player All-Big Ten Preseason Team for the second straight season. Sellers earned All-Big Ten First Team honors last year after averaging 15.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game.
- Sellers was named to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award Watch List for the nation's top shooting guard. Poffenbarger was named to the Cheryl Miller Award Watch List for the nation's top small forward.

- Frese owns a career record of 654-192 (.773) over her 26 years as a head coach.
- Frese was named National Coach of the Year by the AP, The Athletic and ESPN at the end of the 2020-21 season. In October 2021, Frese was the first woman inducted into the Washington DC Metro Basketball Hall of Fame.
- With the Terrapins' win at Nebraska on Feb. 14, 2021, Frese picked up win No. 500 at Maryland, which makes her the winningest coach in Maryland basketball history. Hall of Fame women's basketball head coach Chris Weller won 499 games in her 27 seasons (1975-02).
