Riegger Leads Terps at Blessings Collegiate

FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- Junior Emil Riegger of the Maryland men's golf team tied for 11th to lead the Terps at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational Wednesday at the Blessings Golf Course in Fayetteville, Ark.
Riegger shot a 222 (79-69-74), which was +6. His 69 tied the second-lowest score of in the event. Riegger has finished in the top 20 in all three events so far this season for the Terrapins.
Sophomore Will Gregware tied for 29th with a score of 230 (78-71-81), which was +14. Freshman Griffin Barke finished 35th with a score of 232 (80-73-79). Sophomore Benjamin Siriboury finished 47th with a score of 239 (84-76-78). Freshman Cade Kriscunas earned a score of 245 (82-79-84).
As a team, the Terps finished ninth and earned a score of 921 (319-289-313).
Next, the Terrapins will compete at the Quail Valley Invitational in Vero Beach, Fla. Oct. 19-20.
