COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Three Terps will compete on the U.S. U-21 Women's National Team in the Junior World Cup as announced by USA Field Hockey head coach Ange Bradley.

Maci Bradford,
Alyssa Klebasko, and
Josie Hollamon are three of the 18 athletes representing the United States in Santiago, Chile this December.

"This group brings a strong blend of experience and youth," said Bradley. "Each athlete's strengths complementing another's gaps. Our challenge now is how quickly we can become united after the NCAA season, making our connection and collective play our greatest strength. Together, we will bravely represent the USA with pride, resilience, and a relentless pursuit of a top eight finish."

Bradford and Klebasko represented the United States in the Junior Pan American Cup over the summer, where they brought home a silver medal. Hollamon represented the U.S. in the Pan American Cup in Uruguay and also brought home a silver medal.

The United States is in Pool F, alongside New Zealand, Korea, and Uruguay. The U.S. will open play against New Zealand on Dec. 1, followed by a matchup against Korea on Dec. 3. They will close out pool play on Dec. 5 against Uruguay. The semifinals will be held on Thursday Dec. 11 and the gold-medal game takes place on Saturday, December 13.

Bradford was part of the 2023 U-18 Women's National Team. She leads Maryland with 18 points this season, off five goals and eight assists. She has played and started every game so far this season for the Terps.

Klebasko was also a part of the 2023 U-18 Women's National Team. In 2024, she earned Big Ten All-Second Team honors, Big Ten All-Tournament Team honors, and was selected to the NFHCA All-Mid Atlantic Region Second Team. This season, Klebasko has recorded 48 saves in goal and is currently fourth all-time in Maryland history for career goals against average (1.03).

Hollamon has earned three medals with the U.S. National Teams, including one gold and two silver. In 2024, Josie earned All-Big Ten First Team honors, NFHCA All-Mid Atlantic Region First Team honors, and was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year.
