Week seven of the NFL season has wrapped up, and several former Maryland Terrapins made their presence felt across the league with standout performances for their respective teams.
Stefon Diggs, with the Patriots, led the team in receiving during their win over the Titans on Sunday afternoon. Diggs hauled in seven receptions for 69 yards, continuing his consistent production. He remains on pace to surpass 1,000 receiving yards for the seventh time in his NFL career.Â
Nick Cross had a highlight-worthy moment for the Colts, grabbing an impressive red zone interception and recording six total tackles. His play was a key part of the Colts' defensive efforts.
Sam Okuayinonu made his mark in primetime, picking up three tackles and registering a sack in the 49ers' high-profile win.
DJ Moore continued to be a reliable target for the Bears, leading the team in receiving with three catches for 43 yards.
Kicker Chad Ryland was perfect on the day for the Patriots, going 3-for-3 on field goals, with a long of 40 yards, and 2-for-2 on extra points. His steady performance was crucial in securing the win.
Defensive back Tarheeb Still contributed three tackles for the Chargers in their game against the Colts, while Deonte Banks also recorded three tackles for the Giants in their matchup with the Broncos.
Darnell Savage helped lead the Commanders' secondary, logging three tackles and defending a pass during Sunday's game.
Additional contributions came from Jordan Phillips, who recorded a tackle for the Dolphins, and Tai Felton, who made his mark on special teams for the Vikings with two tackles. Josh Woods also added two tackles for the Falcons in their Sunday night matchup.
