COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Senior Surapa Janthamunee of the Maryalnd women's golf team was named the Big Ten Golfer of the Week Thursday.  This is Janthamunee's first weekly honor. 

Janthamunee tied for second in the individual standings of the Evie Odom Invitational last week with a score of 209 (71-69-68), which was -1 overall. She racked up eight birdies in the event. Janthamunee helped lead the Terps to their first team title since 2020. 

She was also named Solomon Eye Physicians and Associates Terp of the Week Monday.

Janthamunee and the Terps will compete in the Landfall Tradition event this weekend in Wilmington, N.C.
