COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Maryland (4-3, 1-3 Big Ten) hosts no. 2 ranked Indiana (4-1, 8-0 Big Ten) on Saturday at 3:30 p.m., at SECU Stadium on CBS for the 103rd celebration of Homecoming.
103rd HOMECOMING
- Saturday's game will be Maryland's 103rd homecoming game. The Terps have an all-time record of 62-36-4 in homecoming games.
- The Terps have won four of their past five and seven of their last nine homecoming games, with wins against Purdue (2016), Indiana (2017 & 2021), Rutgers (2018), Minnesota (2020), Northwestern (2022) and USC (2024) in that span.
The Terps edged out USC, 29-28, in last season's Homecoming game.

Washington joins Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele of Cal (2025) and Houston's David Piland (2010) as the only Power Conference True Freshman quarterbacks to throw for 200+ yards in each of their first seven career games in one season in this century.
- Through his first seven career games, Washington has thrown for 1,716 passing yards, the third-most by any Power Conference true freshman since 2018. Only Texas Tech's Alan Bowman (2,411 in 2018) and North Carolina's Sam Howell (1,892 in 2019) had more through seven games. Washington's total narrowly edges out Virginia's Anthony Colandrea (1,715 in 2023) and California's Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele (1,696 in 2025).
- Washington's 160 completions through seven career games rank third-most by a Power Conference true freshman since 2018, behind only Alan Bowman (206 in 2018) and Mississippi State's Will Rogers (199 in 2020).
- With 11 passing touchdowns, Malik Washington is tied for the fifth-most by a Power Conference true freshman through seven career games since 2019.
