Brenda Frese's Breakdown:
  • "I love the fact that for the second game in a row, we've really been focused on holding them under 60 points, and we were able to do that."
  • "I thought defensively, our effort was really strong. Winning every quarter, just that focus and never taking your foot off the gas and just every game, growing as a team and being able to see how unselfish we are."
  • "I think we're playing really hard every possession. We have really good intentions. Obviously, defense is something we're really prideful of. I love the ownership that they're taking on both ends of the floor."
  • On her freshmen: "They're really poised. It's awesome to be able to see the confidence level that they're playing from."
Saylor's Super Night:
  • "I've been working on consistency and also just not making it bigger than it is. I think it comes down to coming in and just kind of doing what I do best, playing, rebounding, passing, playing defense, all the things. Then when the ball comes to me, stepping into my shot with confidence."
  • On 12 scorers: "I think that's what makes us super special. This is honestly just scratching the surface. I think everyone has so much ability, and we're really gelling well together right now."
Welson's Freshmen Class:
  • "I think it's just the support of our teammates having our backs out there. They're super confident in every single one of our shots and every single ability of ours to just play the game."
Up Next:
  • The Terps stay home to take on Georgetown on Nov. 9. Tipoff is at 1 PM and the game will air on B1G+.
