Bryce McFerson earned Second Team-All Big nods and 11 total Terrapins received recognition from the league as it announced its honorees on defense and special teams on Wednesday.
O'Haire was voted First Team All-Big Ten by the conference's coaches, while the media chose the standout kicker to the second team. Huskey and McFerson were voted Second Team-All Big Ten by both the coaches and media.

The eight total defensive players and three total specialists garnering All-Big Ten recognition are each the most ever for a Maryland team since joining the league in 2014.
O'Haire finished his first season with the Terps leading the Big Ten and ranking tied for sixth nationally with 1.9 field goals per game. The Kildare, Ireland native converted on 50 of 53 total kicks (21–24 FGs, 29–29 PATs). O'Haire's 21 made field goals tied the third-most in a single season in Maryland history. His 87.5 percent conversion rate on field goals is the second best single-season performance in Terrapin history.
Huskey finished his senior season leading the Terps and tied for fourth in the conference with four interceptions, helping anchor a secondary that ranked among the nation's best in turnovers. He recorded three interceptions over a four-game stretch (Wisconsin, Washington, and UCLA). The Frederick, MD native also finished second on the team in tackles with 72, the sixth-most by a defensive back in the Big Ten.
McFerson finished the regular season second in the Big Ten with a 44.2-yard punting average. The Indian Trail, NC native averaged at least 45.0 yards per punt in six of 12 games. He recorded 14 punts of 50-plus yards, the second-most in the Big Ten, and placed 19 punts inside the 20-yard line, the fourth-most in the conference. His average yards per punt also ranks as the sixth-best single-season in program history.
Glasker made an immediate impact in his first season as a Terp, finishing with a team-high-tying four interceptions. The Temple Hills, MD native recorded interceptions in three consecutive games (Nebraska, UCLA, Indiana), returning one for a touchdown at UCLA. Glasker also added 6.0 tackles for loss, ranking fourth on the team, and totaled 32 tackles on the season.
Joyner finished his first season with the Terps with a team-leading eight pass breakups. The Lakeland, FL native also recorded two interceptions, returning one for a 67-yard touchdown against Nebraska. Joyner ended the year with 40 total tackles.
Mathis, a Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award semifinalist, finished the season second on the team with 6.0 sacks and 8.5 tackles for loss. The Philadelphia, PA native recorded at least a partial sack in seven of the 11 games he played. Despite missing nearly two full games due to injury, he still ranked 11th in the conference in total sacks.
Rice appeared in all 12 games in his graduate season with the Terps, finishing ninth on the team with 33 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks. The Morgantown, WV native's season included a standout season best 19-yard sack at Wisconsin.
Roland recorded 21 tackles and three interceptions, the third-most on the team. The Conley, GA native became the first Terp since 1962 to return an interception 100 yards for a touchdown against Towson. Roland was also named to the PFF Team of the Week following Week 1, earning a PFF grade of 86.4, the third-highest in the country.
Stewart, named an On3 True-Freshman Midseason All-American, finished his first collegiate season with a team-leading seven sacks, tying for fifth in the conference, and recorded at least a partial sack in eight of 12 games. Stewart set the Maryland school record for tackles for loss in a season by a freshman (10.5), surpassing the previous record set in 1979. He led the team in TFLs and ranked Top 10 in the conference.
Wingate led the team and ranked sixth in the Big Ten with 106 total tackles, recording 10 or more in five of 12 games. Wingate also earned Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors in Week 4 and was named to the 2025 Bednarik Award Watch List.
Gough served as the Terps' primary long snapper for the fourth consecutive year in 2025. The Owings, MD native was the snapper for second-team All–Big Ten punter McFerson, who finished the season second in the Big Ten with a 44.2-yard punting average, the sixth-best single-season mark in school history.
The conference will announce All-Big Ten honors for the offense on Thursday.
