
GymTerps Score Season-Best 196.125 At Big Four Meet

COLLEGE PARK, MD – Maryland gymnastics scored a season-best 196.125 at the Big Four Meet at XFINITY Center on Saturday. The Terps hosted the meet for the first time since 2021 and competed against No. 13 Minnesota, No. 15 Michigan and No. 24 Illinois.
Minnesota placed first with a 196.625. Michigan was second at 196.300. The Terps finished third, while Illinois was fourth with a 195.275.
Maryland set a season-high on the uneven bars. The team scored 49.275, ranking first among all participants. All six of Maryland's competitors scored 9.825 or higher. Hailey Merchant and Rhea LeBlanc led the Terps with scores of 9.875. Merchant matched her career-high, and LeBlanc posted a season-high. Tasha Brozowski added a season-high score of 9.850.
Maryland finished on floor. Five Terps scored higher than 9.800, as LeBlanc led with a 9.875. Sophomore Lauren Brendlinger also recorded a career-high 9.850.
The Terps were led by Madeline Komoroski's 9.850 on beam.
