Three All-Time Performances As Terps Close Out Black And Gold Invite

The Track Terps wrapped up the Black and Gold Invite in Orlando, FL today with three all-time performances and a handful of new PRs.

Jennessa Wolfe started off the day for the Terps as she placed third in the women's high jump with marks of 1.68m.

In the women's 800m, Kami Joi Hickson jumped to fifth all-time in program history, finishing the event in sixth place with a new PR.

The Terps foursome of Joshua Goffe, Roman Spikes, Tanner Leach, and Mykel Morman took eighth place in the men's 4x100m with a time of 40.52. Their finish puts them at seventh all-time in the record books.

On the women's relay side, Sam Payne, Maya Valmon, Kami Joi Hickson, and Lydia Robling took second in the 4x400 with a time of 3:38.82, the fourth all-time best finish for the Terps program.

Other personal records on the day were Roman Spikes in the men's 100m at 10.58 seconds, Jewel Ofotan at the women's 100m with 12.33 seconds, and Katie Turk in the women's 800m at 2:11.38.

The Terps are back in action next Saturday as they host the first of two home meets this season at the Maryland Invite.
