BIRMINGHAM, AL -- The No. 4-seeded Maryland (25-7) women's basketball team will take on top-seeded South Carolina (32-3) Friday in the NCAA Regional Semifinals at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Ala. The Terps and the Gamecocks will tip off at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN. The Terrapins are in the Birmingham 2 Region.

Fourth-seeded Maryland earned its 16th top-four seed under Brenda Frese. The Terrapins earned their 15th straight NCAA Tournament bid, dating back to 2011.
