COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Terps showed up and showed out at the first home meet of the season with 17 event wins, two all-time performances, and a handful of new PRs.

In the women's long jump, Nyla Cherry finished in first with a jump of 6.05m, a new PR by 0.3m.

Terps won in both the women's and men's 1500m events with Katerina Talanova coming across at 4 minutes 35.85 seconds, a new PR for her, and Max Worley crossing for the men at 3 minutes 57.50 seconds.

Armanie Coleman won both the women's 100m and 200m events with times of 12.02 seconds and 24.16 seconds, respectively. Roman Spikes was in the same boat as he won both the men's 100m and 200m with times of 10.74 seconds and 21.22 seconds.

Kanai Bey took the top spot in the women's 400m with a new PR time of 55.10 seconds. In the women's 800m, Katie Turk set a new PR and won with a time of 2:10.99.

In the women's 400mH, Tolu Akinduro won the event at 1 minute 2.37 seconds. In the women's 100mH, Isabella Castillo recorded a new PR of 14.48 seconds, placing third.

Both the men's and women's 4x100m relays saw all-time performances. The women's team of Madison Depry, Maya Valmon, Sam Payne, and Armanie Coleman posted a time of 45.70 seconds, fourth all-time in program history. On the men's side, the foursome of Joshua Goffe, Tanner Leach, Roman Spikes, and Mykel Morman moved the group from seventh to tie at fifth all-time in program history, recording a time of 40.30 seconds.

To close out the day, the Terps also swept the 4x400m relays with the group of Kanai Bey, Emma Pegg, Katerina Talanova, and Maya Mosley crossing the finish line at 3:45.87, and the men's team of Sam Ford, Joshua Goffe, Isaiah Chapman, and DJ Tarver at 3:13.03.

Coach Valmon's Thoughts:
"There was a lot of Maryland Pride on the track and in the field today! Our home meet is a great opportunity for our athletes to perform in front of their friends and family. The atmosphere in College Park definitely fueled our performance today."

Up next: The Terps pick up competition next week when they travel to the University of Florida for the Florida Relays.
