
Terps Score Season-High On Floor In Win At Temple, 196.325-194.950

PHILADELPHIA – Maryland gymnastics set a season-high of 49.350 on floor as it defeated Temple 196.325-194.950 at McGonigle Hall on Wednesday afternoon. The Terps are now 9-7 this season. They won three of four competitions against the Owls (9-14), including floor, beam and uneven bars.
Maryland finished the meet strongly. Its third rotation on floor was accompanied by strong performances all around. Madeline Komoroski and Alexa Rothenbuescher scored season-highs of 9.900 and sophomore Lauren Brendlinger added a career-best 9.875. Maryland's top four scores were all above the 9.825 mark.
The Terps' final rotation on beam was also met with standout performances. As a team, they scored 49.175. Komoroski matched her second season-high of the day with a 9.900 in the event. Freshman Rayna Engelmayer also posted a career-best 9.750.
The Terps competed on vault in their second rotation, scoring 48.825 as a squad. Natalie Martin led the lineup with a score of 9.850.

- The Terps will travel to New Haven, Connecticut, on March 9 for the Yale Tri-Meet. The meet starts at noon, and Maryland will compete against Yale and LIU.
