Maryland Cruises Past No. 15 Oregon In Game One Of Doubleheader, 12-2

The Terps scored six of their runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, stretching their lead to 10-2, which Oregon (23-10, 11-6 Big Ten) could not climb back from. The scoring run was headlined by a bases-clearing three-run RBI double by Jacob Orr. Calarco and Hill also recorded RBI knocks, and Chris Hacopian was credited with an RBI with a bases-loaded walk.
Orr finished with a season-high four RBIs and a run. Through the first two games of the series, he has five RBIs, as he hit a solo home run in game one yesterday. Orr, Calarco, Hollis Porter and Brayden Martin all finished with multiple RBIs in the contest.
Calarco had two RBIs while going 2-for-2 at the plate with a run scored. He was also in each of his first two appearances. The senior leads the Terps with 49 RBIs this season.B5| Porter brings home one on an RBI single

Martin was the other Terp to post multiple hits. He went 3-for-3 and led the Terps with three runs scored. His two-RBI single in the bottom of the seventh secured the run-rule victory.
Andrew Johnson made his first start on the mound this season for the Terps. He pitched a season-high 3.1 innings, striking out three batters and allowing only two runs on three hits.
Logan Hastings entered out of the bullpen, earning his third victory of the season. He pitched 3.2 innings, allowing only two hits and no runs.

- Hastings robbed the Ducks of a potential in-play hit with runners on, snagging a ball that returned to him at the mound with his glove.

- Eddie Hacopian scored two runs, giving him 145 for his career. He is tied for 12th on Maryland's career runs list with Brian Patenaude.
