COLLEGE PARK, MD.-- The University of Maryland women's tennis team (14-11, 7-6 B1G) will face No. 9 seed Iowa on Wednesday, April 23 on the road in the first round of the 2025 Big Ten Women's Tennis Tournament. The winner of the match will face No. 1 seed Michigan the following day. 

Maryland is coming off another strong regular season, going 4-2 in their final six dual matches. Among those wins the Terrapins defeated Iowa 4-2 in College Park on Friday, April 4. 

Iowa comes into the match as the No. 9 seed with a 13-9 record (7-6 B1G), most recently losing to No. 18 Washington 4-0.
