Kallista Liu was named ITA Atlantic Regional Most Improved Player, and Associate Head Coach
Ruth Seaborne was named ITA Atlantic Regional Assistant Coach of the Year on Tuesday.

Under the leadership of Coach Seaborne, Maryland continued its streak of success in 2025, finishing 15-12 overall and 7-6 in conference play. Liu had a terrific senior year, notching 21 wins in singles and 16 in doubles. Liu was also named First Team All-Big Ten in 2025.

The Terps went 9-3 at home, including key wins against No. 46 Penn State and No. 28 Iowa. The win over Iowa was the Terrapins' highest-ranked win since 2013. The Terrapins had a strong showing at the Big Ten Tournament to conclude the 2024-2025 season, defeating Iowa and pushing the top-seeded Michigan to the last point in the quarterfinals. In the final ITA top 75 rankings, the Terps landed at No. 56.
