COLLEGE PARK, MD --Maryland field hockey will take on some of the nation's top competition in 2025, as head coach Missy Meharg announced the Terps' fall schedule on Thursday.
Â
The Terps will face 10 opponents ranked in last year's final Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I Coaches Poll, including six teams that finished in the top 10 and two that competed in the National Championship.
Â
"Our mission every year is to provide our players and fans with the most competitive schedule possible," said Meharg. "Since January, our group has been relentlessly focused on speed of play—showcasing a fast, fit, and emotionally charged brand of hockey. Field hockey in College Park is where fans can expect premier female athletes, great entertainment, and a vibrant home atmosphere. Schedule the best, and you'll be the best!"
