COLLEGE PARK, MD – Maryland Athletics and the Terrapin Club are proud to announce the launch of the Next Gen Terps giving program. Designed for recent graduates and early-to-mid-career professionals, Next Gen Terps aims to deepen engagement with Terp fans through philanthropy, community and connection.
This initiative will offer exclusive access and elevated benefits to participants who make an annual commitment, providing more opportunities for individuals in their twenties and thirties to actively support Maryland Athletics. Next Gen Terps is dedicated to cultivating a strong and spirited network of young professionals who are passionate and invested in the future of Maryland Athletics.
"This is an important new chapter in how we continue to cultivate and connect with the next generation of Terp fans," said Kirby Mills, Senior Associate Athletics Director and Chief Development Officer. "We recognize that our supporters in their early and mid-careers want to be involved in ways that are meaningful and dynamic. This program offers them that opportunity, and to be part of Maryland Athletics' ongoing commitment to building a stronger community."
In addition to receiving benefits at the Terrapin Club Silver giving level, Next Gen Terps members will also gain access to exclusive events focused on networking, professional development and behind-the-scenes experiences with Maryland Athletics, including tailgate and pregame field access, coaching staff conversations, and more.
Next Gen Terps is now open for enrollment for $30/month or $300/year. Membership gifts benefit the Terrapin Club Impact Fund, which provides unrestricted funds that are invested into championship resources needed to win in all aspects of the game.
Bridging the gap from student to career professional, Next Gen Terps is aligned with the Student Terrapin Club, a free student membership program launched in 2024. Exclusively available to current students who attend a combination of at least five Maryland Football, Men's and Women's Basketball each athletic season, the Student Terrapin Club engages the most passionate fans while deepening meaningful camaraderie and community on campus. Recent Student Terrapin Club graduates will receive a free offer to join Next Gen Terps with the purchase of season tickets.
