MOBILE, AL – Maryland senior defensive back
Jalen Huskey has been named to the 2026 Senior Bowl Top 300 list, it was announced on Wednesday morning.
The Senior Bowl scouting department, comprised entirely of former NFL scouts, has worked since last February to evaluate over 2,000 prospects from all levels of college football and from that extensive and competitive process, the Senior Bowl Top 300 list was composed.
Huskey is in his second season with the Terps after transferring from Bowling Green. A Quince Orchard product, Huskey appeared in 12 games with 11 starts for Maryland as a junior in 2024. He totaled 45 tackles (21 solo), 2.5 TFLs, four passes defended, three interceptions, one blocked kick and one fumble recovery last season.
Huskey posted a career-high tying 10 tackles at Oregon and his interceptions came against Michigan State, Virginia and Indiana.
Fifty percent of the players selected in the top three rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft were Senior Bowl participants, including Maryland's
Tai Felton. This year the Senior Bowl moved to a more selective watchlist, moving away from the 850 players featured on last year's watchlist and narrowing the focus to a more exclusive group of 300.
The 2026 Panini Senior Bowl will be played on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at South Alabama's Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama.
