Riegger Leads Maryland in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, SC -- Junior Emil Riegger led the Maryland men's golf team at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate at the Grande Dunes Golf Resort Club in Myrtle Beach this week.
Riegger tied for 20th in the indivudual standings with a score of 214 (72-72-70), which was two under. He parred or birdied 47 of the 54 holes in the event.
Sophomore Will Gregware tied for 28th with an even score of 216 (74-74-68). In his first collegiate event, freshman Caden Piselli tied for 38th with a score of 218 (72-72-74), which was +2. Junior Manato Nakatani earned a score of 232 (75-82-75). Senior Armand Papaziani shot a 241 (85-80-76).
As a team, the Terps earned a score of 878 (293-298-287), which was +14.
Next, the Terrapins will compete in the Bearcat Invitational in Cincinnati, Ohio Sept. 15-16.
