COLLEGE PARK, MD – The University of Maryland women's tennis team wins against Georgetown 6-1 on Sunday.
Emma Kovacevic and
Emma Ghirardato won their doubles match 6-2, along with
Oliwia Orlinska and
Magdalena Baniak, who also won 6-2, to give the Terps their first point.
In Singles,
Oliwia Orlinska shone, winning 6-0, 6-0 in her singles match.
Lucia Donnelly and
Emma Ghirardato also took home their first singles victory as Terps, winning 6-1, 6-2, and 6-1, 6-1.
This tacked on the fourth and winning point for the Terps to give the girls their first victory in the spring 2026 season!
