
Rogers And Akinduro Post Top-Three All-Time Marks Saturday For Maryland

CLEMSON, SC/BOSTON, MA - Eva Rogers and Tolu Akinduro record top three all-time finishes to highlight the day for the Maryland Terrapins track and field team, at the Boston Valentine Invitational and Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational.
Eva Rogers recorded a time of 9:27.34 in the 3,000 meters. Rogers broke her previous personal best which stood at a time of 9:35.15 and held sixth all-time.
Tolu Akinduro reached a distance of 13.19 meters in the triple jump which surpassed her previous personal best of 12.90 to set a new third all-time record for the team.
Ella O'Neall hit a mark of 13.99 meters in the shot put invitational which saw her finish in ninth place for the event.
Annika Metzger turned in a time of 4:51.71 in the mile which was a new personal best for the sophomore.
The Maryland Terrapins track and field team will return to action this Friday February 20th at 10:00 am as they compete in the Navy Select meet at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.
