
Komoroski Dazzles As No. 24 Terps Post 196.200 Mark Against No. 11 Michigan State and Western Michigan

The senior had a big day for Maryland as the Terps battled the Spartans and Broncos.
EAST LANSING, MI — Madeline Komoroski's big day led the Terps to a 196.200 overall score on Sunday's meet with No. 11 Michigan State (197.250) and Western Michigan (195.225). Komoroski posted team-high scores in two of the three events she competed in, including a 9.900 mark on the floor.
Maryland got its afternoon started on the uneven bars, where the Terps posted a 48.800 team score. Komoroski and Gianna Ruffing led the way with 9.800 and 9.775 respective scores as Maryland settled into the meet.

The Terps closed the day out with a 49.225 team score on the vault. Taylor Rech and Katrina Mendez-Abolnik flipped their way to matching scores of 9.875. Rech's mark etched a season-high for the senior. The Terps went 1-1 on the day, picking up a non-conference win and battling with one of the top teams in the Big Ten.
