No. 20 Terps Erase 19-Point Deficit In 76-75 Comeback Win Over No. 8 Ohio State

Maryland hit nine three-pointers in the second half in the Terps’ biggest comeback since 2019.

COLUMBUS, OH — No. 20 Maryland erased a 19-point deficit to steal a 76-75 win from No. 8 Ohio State on Sunday afternoon. The Terps went on a 35-11 run over 13 minutes in the second half to rally to tie the biggest comeback win in program history and first top-10 road win since 2022.  Oluchi Okananwa's big season continued with a 17-point, 10-rebound, four-assist performance against Ohio State. She recorded her ninth-career double-double as Maryland outgained the Buckeyes 47-34 on the glass. Saylor Poffenbarger added a double-double of her own with 13 key points and 11 rebounds.  After trailing by 15 at the half, Maryland used a huge, 26-14 third quarter to cut the Buckeyes' lead to three points entering the final quarter.
