COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The University of Maryland football program has added defensive lineman
Armon Parker, it was officially announced on Monday.
Parker, a 6-foot-3, 320-pound redshirt senior from Detroit, Mich., arrives in College Park after competing at Washington. He saw action in eight games during the 2025 season, recording a nine-yard sack in a road win at Washington State and finishing with three tackles in a victory over Rutgers. Parker made his collegiate debut against UC Davis and also appeared in games against Ohio State, at Maryland and at Wisconsin before his season was cut short due to injury.
At Fordson High School in Michigan, Parker helped lead the Tractors to a 9-3 record and a berth in the Division I state quarterfinals as a senior. He totaled 63 tackles and 10 sacks, earning first-team All-Kensington Lake League and all-region honors while being named the Kensington Lakes East League Defensive Lineman of the Year.
Parker has one year of eligibility remaining.
