Beauty of the bats
  • Jordan Crosland has recorded a dynamic past 10 games. His two home runs over the weekend moved him up to five over the stretch. He has totaled 15 hits over the 10 games that has contributed to his impressive .429 batting average and 1.410 OPS.
  • Freshman Nate Hawton-Henley recorded the first two hits of his collegiate career on March 10 against No. 22 West Virginia. He earned his first start on Sunday and continued his form with another two-hit performance with a two-RBI single in the sixth to further spur on the Terps' five-run comeback.
  • David Mendez earned his 20th hit of the season on Sunday. He is the fifth Terp to reach that milestone this season.
  • After two extra-base hits over the weekend, Rylen Stockton moved his tally up to 38 total bases and 10 XBH on the season. He is one of five Terps to have 30+ total bases on the season and is just the second to reach double digits for XBH.

heroic hastings
  • After being named to the National Pitcher of the Year watch list, Logan Hastings earned his second win of the season on Sunday after pitching a hitless 1.2 innings to close the series out. He now has two wins and two saves in 2026.
  • The Maryland native became the first Terp with eight or more strikeouts in a relief appearance since Nate Haberthier on March 12, 2023 vs. Maine. Hastings had eight strikeouts in 3.0 innings pitched against Troy on March 7.
  • He is holding batters to a .164 average and .89 WHIP.
  • Along with leading the team in WHIP, he also leads in ERA with 2.53 through 21.1 innings pitched.
crushing coz
  • Ryan Costello is having a tremendous season as he continues to cause problems for pitchers.
  • In 19 games played, Costello has recorded an RBI in 14 of them. He leads the team with 29 which ranks second in the Big Ten and 24th in the nation.
  • His nine home runs not only lead the Terps, but also puts him on top out of all freshmen in the nation and third in the Big Ten.
  • He also leads the team in XBH (12), OPS (1.168), total bases (53) and now walks (17) after he worked six over the weekend and eight on the week.
  • Costello was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week on March 9 after his impressive performances, including two homers to ignite a late Terps comeback against Troy on March 8.
Marvelous martin
  • Brayden Martin continues to display his dominance in the batters box as he extends his on base streak to 49 games.
  • His 32 hits are the most on the team, along with his .405 batting average leading the way. In his 19 games this season, he has recorded a hit in 17 of them.
  • Martin has a 100% success rate for stealing bases and leads the team with eight total bases stolen.
  • His great eye has led to his success when up to bat. He has worked 16 walks on the season which ranks fifth in the Big Ten.
  • Martin's 38 total bases is tied for second on the team.
