where we are
  • The Maryland Terrapins (11-13, 1-5) continue a grueling seven-game stretch as No. 12 USC comes to College Park. Maryland is coming off a tough road series at No. 1 UCLA, ranked ninth in the RPI, and a midweek clash against No. 9 Virginia, which sits fifth in the RPI. The challenge doesn't let up, as USC arrives ranked 11th in the latest RPI, adding another top-tier test to an already demanding slate.
  • The Terps have accumulated 43 hits over the first four games of this stretch, with 11 going for extra bases and three of those being home runs.

  • After a five-hit weekend with one home run, Aden Hill holds a .323 batting average over his last 10 games with four doubles and three home runs since March 7.
  • Paul Jones II is on a six-game hit streak, three of those being multi-hit games. He totals 24 hits on the season and is one of seven Terps to have 20+ hits this year.
  • Jackson Sirois, who earned the start at third base on Tuesday, recorded two hits and one RBI vs. his former team.
