PHILADELPHIA, PA — Maryland picked up three quality wins over Temple, Towson, and Penn with its 195.900 overall score on Thursday night in the Temple Quad Meet. Madeline Komoroski earned meet-high scores in two of her three events as Maryland moved to 10-6 (3-6 Big Ten) in 2026.

Maryland got its night started on the uneven bars, where a trio of 9.825 marks from Sarah Saville, Chelsey Dennis, and Komoroski earned the Terps a 49.050 team score. Saville and Dennis' scores tied their season highs while Maryland's team score marked its fourth-highest total on the bars in 2026.

The Terps' hot start to the night kept rolling on the balance beam as they posted a 49.000 team score, marking their second-highest beam score this season. Komoroski's meet-high 9.925 score led the way while Emily DeFrees and Josephine Kogler posted respective 9.875 and 9.800 marks. 

The floor has been one of Maryland's strongest events this season, and Thursday night was no different. The Terps earned a 49.175 team score to separate themselves from the competition late in the meet. Komoroski led the way with a meet-high 9.875 score while Aine Reade and DeFrees earned twin 9.850 marks.

Katrina Mendez-Abolnik's 9.825 score on vault tied for the night's best mark and led the way to the Terps' 48.675 team score. Kogler and Rayna Engelmayer each posted 9.775s as Maryland wrapped up the night. Penn took second overall on Thursday with a 195.075 overall score to move to 22-1 on the season. Towson placed third with a 195.000 overall tally as the Tigers moved to 11-11 while Temple brought up the rear with a 194.450 to drop to 7-16 in 2026.
