where we are
- Maryland took games two and three against Indiana over the weekend for their first Big Ten series win of the season. They moved to 4-11 in conference and 17-19 overall.
- On Sunday, the Terps' recorded the 2,000th win in program history, dating back to 1893.
- The Terps won 14-4 on Saturday in a seven inning game. This was the third run rule victory for Maryland this week.
- Down 6-4 in the bottom of the ninth, Maryland clawed back and finished the weekend with an exciting 8-6 walk-off victory, courtesy of a Devin Russell grand slam. This is the third grand slam the Terps' have hit in the past seven games.
- On Saturday, Logan Hastings tossed the first Big Ten complete game by a Maryland pitcher since Ryan Ramsey tossed a perfect game on April 29, 2022 vs. Northwestern.

- David Mendez is on a 10 game-hitting streak. He has 14 hits over that streak, including a crucial home run against Indiana this past Sunday. He now totals 40 hits on the season, becoming the third Terp to do so.

Decisive devin
- Devin Russell had himself a winning weekend, hitting back-to-back walkoff home runs to earn himself Big Ten Player of the Week honors.
- His first came on Saturday in the bottom of the seventh inning to push Maryland ahead by 10 runs, completing the run-rule victory and even the series.
- On Sunday's rubber match the Terps were down 6-4 in the bottom of the ninth with bases loaded and one out. Russell stepped up to the box and sent the ball over the batter's eye to complete the comeback and win both the game, as well as the series.
- He had four hits, four runs and seven RBI over the two games he played over the series.
