COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Maryland Terrapins (18-19, 4-11) are set to travel out to Iowa for a weekend Big Ten Series against the Iowa Hawkeyes (19-15, 5-10). Friday's matchup will be the 20th time these teams have faced off with the last one coming in 2023 where Terps took a 4-0 victory in the Big Ten Tournament. Friday's matchup, which was postponed to Saturday due to lightning in the area, will resume at 2 pm in the sixth inning and game two will be played roughly 40 minutes following the conclusion of game one. The series finale will begin at 2 pm on Sunday. All games can be watched on B1G+ or listened to on Maryland Baseball Network.

Decisive devin
- Devin Russell had himself a winning weekend, hitting back-to-back walkoff home runs to earn himself Big Ten Player of the Week honors.
- His first came on Saturday in the bottom of the seventh inning to push Maryland ahead by 10 runs, completing the run-rule victory and even the series.
- On Sunday's rubber match the Terps were down 6-4 in the bottom of the ninth with bases loaded and one out. Russell stepped up to the box and sent the ball over the batter's eye to complete the comeback and win both the game, as well as the series.
