Guerrah Sets Top-10 Mark In 400-Meter Hurdles To Lead Terrapins At Day One Of Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, PA -Mehdi Guerrah set a new top-10 all-time mark in the 400-meter hurdles to highlight day one of the Penn Relays for the Maryland Terrapins track and field team. The Terrapins also recorded two top-15 finishes in field events.

Mehdi Guerrah ran a time of 51.18 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles, improving on his own seventh all-time mark.

In the field events, Morgan Graham recorded a throw of 55.96 meters in the women's hammer throw championship, while Andrew Harmon posted a distance of 58.86 meters in the men's competition. Both earned top-15 finishes in their respective events.

The Terrapins return to action Friday at 10 a.m. for day two of the Penn Relays. Fans can follow along as the competition continues, with the meet streamed live on FloTrack.
