Maryland Posts 195.775 in NCAA Regional

The Terps wrapped up their season with a solid showing in the Lexington Regional

LEXINGTON, KY — Maryland's season concluded with a 195.775 showing in the Lexington Regional of the NCAA Tournament on Friday afternoon. Madeline Komoroski led the Terps in two events, but Maryland was unable to place in the top two, ending its 2026 campaign.

Maryland got its day started on the beam. Madeline Komoroski and Megan Bingham led the way to a 48.925 team score with respective 9.875 and 9.825 marks. Bingham tied her season high while Josephine Kogler pitched in a 9.775.

The Terps had a solid day on the floor with a 49.025 team score. Led by a 9.850 from Taylor Rech and back by a trio of 9.800 marks from Emily DeFrees, Rayna Engelmayer, and Komoroski, Maryland stayed right with the competition midway through the meet.

Maryland moved over to the vault, where Katrina Mendez-Abolnik led the way with a 9.850 tally. Kogler posted a 9.825 while Logan Buckmon earned a 9.800 en route to a 49.000 team score.

The Terps ended their day — and the season — with a 195.775 team score on the uneven bars. Komoroski led the way with a 9.800 showing. No. 9 Arkansas (7-13-1) won the day with a 197.175 overall score while No. 8 Missouri (14-9) also advanced in the tournament with its 196.875 team tally.
