GAINESVILLE, FL - The Maryland Terrapins track and field team recorded four top-10 all-time program marks and earned two first-place finishes on day one of the Pepsi Florida Relays on Friday in Gainesville.

Evelyn VanZwieten at a distance of 43.50 meters set a new second best all-time program mark in the women's javelin. The sophomore previously held the fifth best mark.

Fin Essley climbed to second all-time in program history in the hammer throw at a personal-best mark of 61.02 meters.

In the men's 4x100 meters Gabe Levrone, Mykell Morman, Sam Ford, and Roman Spikes set a new sixth best all-time mark in the 4x100 meters at a time of 40.31 seconds.

Eva Rogers set a new eighth best all-time mark at a time of 4:22.92 in the 1,500 meters. Rogers previously set the 10th best mark in program history her last time competing.

Annika Metzger finished first overall in the 1,500 meters with a commanding season-best time of 4:30.56 seconds.
