Biography
2025 Outdoor (Florida): Recorded a 41.66m [136'8"] mark in the Javelin at the East Coast Relays in Jacksonville (May3)... Set a personal record in the Javelin Throw (48.54m/159'3") at the Tom Jones Invitational (April 18-19)... Finished twelfth with a personal best in the Javelin Throw (45.46m/149'2") at Florida Relays (Apr.4/5)... Finished third in the Javelin Throw (44.80m/147'0") at the Terry Long FSU Relays (Mar. 27/28).
Before College:
- Was a FHSAA 1A State Silver Medalist in the javelin in 2024, won the 2024 1A FHSAA Region 2 in the javelin, and won the discus in 2022 for the FHSAA 1A
- Had personal bests of 43.23m in the javelin and 40 meters in the discus
- Also played volleyball, softball, basketball, football, and soccer
Personal:
- Daughter to Dr. Tannen VanZwieten
- Has eight siblings: Bena, Violet, Lucy, Saphira, Joseni, Mable, Rosemary, and Ava
- Sister, Mable, throws javelin at Emory University
- Enjoys visiting her home country of Zambia and volunteering at the Debbie Joy School (founded by her mother).
- Intends to major in Kinesiology
