COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Maryland Terrapins (13-18) will face off against the UMBC Retrievers (16-10) on Tuesday, April 7 at 4 pm (originally scheduled for 6 pm) before heading to the state capital on Wednesday for a 3 pm first pitch against the Navy Midshipmen (18-12). Maryland leads both series historically with a 41-15-1 record in 57 matchups against the Retrievers and a 34-28 record in the 62 games against the Midshipmen. Tuesday's game can be found on AM East TV with Wednesday's on ESPN+. Both games can be listened to on Maryland Baseball Network.

- The Terps mashed 31 hits over the weekend with 11 being for extra bases. They totaled 20 runs through the series.
- Jackson Sirois continued his impressive form this weekend. Over his last eight games played since taking on his former team in Virginia, Sirois is hitting for a .393 batting average with four home runs and a team-high 14 RBI.
- Jordan Crosland tallied four RBI on the weekend with one coming from a Saturday dinger. He is second on the team for total home runs (7) and OPS (1.034). His four-hit weekend moved him to 30 hits on the season and 54 total bases.
- Freshman Nate Hawton-Henley knocked two hits, one RBI and recorded a triple on Saturday. He is the third Terp to hit a triple this year.

- After his two-homer performance on Saturday at Ohio State, Ryan Costello not only leads all freshmen in the nation in home runs, but also shares the lead in the Big Ten with 13 on the season.
- He leads the team in OPS (1.036), total bases (74), extra base hits (18) and RBI (39).
- Costello's presence at the plate has struck fear into opposing pitchers as he now has been walked 22 times this season, the second most on the team.

Marvelous martin
- After six hits over the weekend, Brayden Martin is now only one hit away from a half-century mark this season as he sits with a team-high 49. He also leads the team in runs and batting average with 34 and .383, respectively.
- He knocked a hit every game to extend his on-base streak to 61 games. He has now gone a over a full calender year since not reaching base in a game.
- Martin's intelligence shines bright not only when he's up to bat, but when he is on base as well. He leads the team with a .497 one-base percentage and 27 walks. He also has 12 stolen bases on 12 attempts for a perfect 100% success rate.
