Jordan Crosland and Rylen Stockton both homered in the Terps’ Tuesday victory.
Jordan Crosland's eighth homer of the season — and second in his past three games — highlighted the Terps' four-run second inning. His three-run shot followed an RBI infield single from David Mendez, who plated Jackson Sirois, as Maryland gave Morlang a lead to protect.
The freshman spun a gem in his midweek start, throwing a career-high 6.0 innings and allowing just five hits across his 96 pitches. Maryland put the final touches on the win with a three-run seventh inning that featured RBI doubles from Ryan Costello and Ty Kaunas. The Terps won their first of five games this week. Maryland is back in action on the road on Wednesday against Navy at 3 PM.
