Maryland Alumni Jordyn Lipkin, Erica Evans and Aurora Cordingley Named to 2026 World Lacrosse Women's Championship All-World Team

COLLEGE PARK, MD — Three former Maryland standouts, Jordyn Lipkin, Erica Evans and Aurora Cordingley, were named to the 2026 World Lacrosse Women's Championship All-World Team, World Lacrosse announced following the conclusion of the tournament in Tokyo, Japan.
The World Team recognizes the top 10 players from the Nissin Foods 2026 World Lacrosse Women's Championship.
United States midfielder Ally Kennedy was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player after a dominant all-around performance. It marks Kennedy's second World Lacrosse MVP honor after earning the same distinction at the 2024 World Lacrosse Women's Box Championship.
Erica Evans earned her second consecutive World Team selection after also being named to the World Team at The World Games in 2025. Evans transferred to Maryland as a graduate student in 2019 and started every game for the Terrapins, tying for the team lead with 59 goals. She also recorded 15 assists for 74 points, along with 23 ground balls, 12 draw controls, and five caused turnovers. Evans closed the season by scoring 32 goals over Maryland's final nine games and earned IWLCA Third Team All-America, All-Big Ten, and IWLCA Second Team All-Region honors.
Aurora Cordingley was named to the World Team for the second time after also receiving the honor in 2022. She spent one season at Maryland in 2022 after transferring from Johns Hopkins and immediately established herself as one of the nation's top attackers. Cordingley started all 21 games, totaling 67 goals and 51 assists for 118 points while helping lead the Terrapins to the NCAA Final Four. A Tewaaraton Award finalist, Big Ten Attacker of the Year, First Team All-American, and First Team All-Big Ten selection, she finished her lone season ranked fourth in Maryland history in single-season points and fifth in assists.
Jordyn Lipkin led the 2026 World Lacrosse Women's Championship with 25 points, helping Israel earn its first-ever bronze medal and the nation's first-ever medal at the Women's Championship. Aurora Cordingley tied for Team Canada's scoring lead with 22 points, recording 16 goals and six assists. During her five-year Maryland career, Lipkin developed into one of the Terrapins' most versatile offensive threats, helping lead the program to multiple NCAA Tournament appearances while recording more than 100 career goals and assists. She capped her collegiate career with a breakout graduate season in 2026, posting career highs of 25 goals, 39 assists, and 54 points.
