Faith Luckey made a season-high eight saves in Maryland’s clash with the Nittany Lions on Friday evening.
COLLEGE PARK, MD — Maryland dropped a 2-0 conference match to Penn State on Friday evening at Ludwig Field. The Nittany Lions won their 23rd all-time meeting with the Terps as Maryland dropped to 3-5-1 (0-3 Big Ten) in 2026.
Penn State (4-2-2, 2-1 Big Ten) scored in both halves of Friday's contest. Maryland goalkeeper Faith Luckey made a season-high eight saves in the face of adversity, but the Terps weren't able to spark any offense in the loss. Maryland is back in action against No. 22 Wisconsin next Thursday.
