COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Maryland continues home Big Ten play against #14 Wisconsin on Thursday at 6 PM ET at Ludwig Field. This match will be the fourth Big Ten match of the season for the Terps after dropping their first home Big Ten match against Penn State. SERIES HISTORY VS. Wisconsin

Maryland has faced off against the Badgers nine times since 2014, predominantly dominated by Wisconsin.
Wisconsin is currently on a 5-match winning streak dating back to 2019.
The Terps will be seeking their first-ever victory against the Badgers in Thursday's match.

Big Ten Play Continues

Maryland continues its three-match homestand with Wisconsin on Sept. 24 and UCLA on Sept. 27, before hitting the road at Minnesota on Oct. 2.
The Terps then return home for three straight seasons, hosting Nebraska (Oct. 8), Northwestern (Oct. 11), and Iowa (Oct. 16), before closing the regular season with road matches at Michigan, Michigan State, and Rutgers.

Penn State Recap

Maryland fell 2-0 to Penn State in its Big Ten home opener, despite a season-high eight saves from goalkeeper Faith Luckey. Luckey also stopped a Penn State penalty kick in the 68th minute, keeping the Terps within striking distance.
Penn State controlled much of the match, outshooting Maryland 11-6 and holding a 10-4 advantage in shots on goal. Maryland generated four shots on target, with Mckinley Heaven and Dani Gichner each putting early attempts on frame.
