Before Maryland - Is the Delaware High School State Record holder in the long jump; 3x Atlantic-10 long jump champion; 2x NCAA national qualifier
Recorded personal bests of 6.21m in the long jump, 5'4" in the high jump, 12.29 in the 100m, 25.36 in the 200m, and 57.15 in the 400m.
