As a Sophomore (2010-11): Went 1-10 at 174 pounds and 1-6 at 165...topped PSU-Dubois' Stephen Terwillinger 11-7 at the Ursinus Fall Brawl.
Before Maryland: A three-year letterwinner at Walt Whitman HS ... won the regional championship and finished fifth at the state championships as a senior ... runner-up at regionals and sixth in the state as a junior ... finished fourth in the region and sixth in the state as a sophomore.
Personal: Parents are Robert and Caren ... also has a brother, Adam ... graduated high school with a 3.8 GPA ... an animal science major.
