As a freshman (2016): Saw action in 18 games...earned NFHCA National Academic Squad honors...part of team that won third straight Big Ten regular season title.
Before Maryland: Played forward and midfield over her four years at Lake Forest Academy and also played lacrosse...served as team captain in senior season and was named MVP in 2015...named to the Illinois Field Hockey All-State Team in 2014 and 2015...named Most Valuable Offensive Player of her team as a junior...named Sophomore Female Athlete of the Year in 2013...named to the Illinois Lacrosse All-State Team in 2014...played for Windy City Field Hockey, coached by former Terrapin and Olympian Katie Kauffman Beach.
Personal: Parents are Marianne and Jeff Silver...has six brothers - Matthew, Andrew, Eric, Michael, Brian and John...came to Maryland for the coaches, the team, the Big Ten and she wanted to play for the best...wants to work with ALSAC at St. Jude's Children's Hospital one day...communication major.
