Biography

As a freshman (2016): Saw action in all 23 games and started in seven...scored first career goal in the 41st minute vs. California (Sept. 10)...scored in the 65th minute of the Terps' 6-2 victory over American (Sept. 11)...added first career assist on insurance goal in 60th minute vs. Indiana (Sept. 17)...scored to tie the game in the 23rd minute in eventual 4-2 win at #15 Iowa (Sept. 23)...added two assists in Terps' regular season finale vs. Rutgers (Oct. 29)...scored Maryland's second goal in 3-2 overtime win over #12 Northwestern in Big Ten Semifinals (Nov. 4)...part of team that won third straight Big Ten regular season title.

Before Maryland: Member of the Dutch Under-16 and Under-18 national teams....currently plays for Under-18 Laren Mixed Hockey Club in Dutch national competition...has also been included in training sessions with the First Ladies Team, the highest level in Holland...helped team reach semifinals in each of the last four years...played on regional Dutch teams before she was 12.

Personal: Parents are Ilse Kerhof and Epco Pottinga...has one younger brother, Cas...came to Maryland because she really liked the coaching staff..."They want you to acheive the highest level of hockey but also want you to succeed in class and life".
