As a senior (2019): Saw action in 14 games… made an assist in the 5-0 shutout against Towson (9/11)…tallied an additional assist versus 4-0 win over James Madison (9/15)…four days later added another assist against #24 Penn State (9/19)…scored first goal of the season in the 6-0 shutout against Indiana (10/13)…part of team that won Big Ten regular season title…earned All-Big Ten Academic honors.
As a junior (2018): Saw action in 22 games and started in 5…had an assist in 3-1 win at Indiana (Oct. 12)…scored first goal of season in 6-0 shutout against Michigan State (Oct. 28)… Earned NFHCA National Academic Squad for the fourth year in a row (2018)… part of team that won Big Ten regular season and tournament titles and advanced to NCAA Championship game.
As a sophomore (2017): Saw time in seven games...first action of the season vs. Towson and scored first career goal in the 67th minute (Sept. 8)...part of team that advanced to the NCAA Championship game... ?
As a freshman (2016): Saw action in 12 games on the season......part of team that won third straight Big Ten regular season title.
Before Maryland:Â Member of U.S. Under-19 Team...named First Team All-State and NFHCA All-Pennsylvania Region Second Team...high school team was state runner-up in 2013 and 2014 and state champion in 2012.
Personal: Parents are Dale and Karen Dessoye...has one brother, Josh, and sister, Anna, who played field hockey at Maryland from 2011-2015...intends to study speech pathology...chose Maryland because she loved the campus and the field hockey team.... Majoring in Hearing & Speech Sciences.Â
