As a Senior (2016): Drafted in the 36th round of the 2016 MLB Draft ()by the Arizona Diamondbacks…appeared 27 times, tied for the most on the team…notched a 3.00 ERA, the best of Maryland’s bullpen, in 24.0 IP…struck out 14 and notched one save…served as Maryland’s SAAC vice president…made his first appearance and struck out two in 1.2 IP at Alabama (2/19)…tossed 2/3 of an inning at Alabama and did not give up a run (2/20)…notched an out against Rhode Island (2/27)…tossed two spotless innings against Rhode Island to earn a save (2/28)…gave up a run in 2/3 of an inning against Tennessee (3/4)…threw 1.2 IP at East Carolina (3/6)…recorded two innings of work and struck out a pair at Delaware (3/8)…appeared against Bryant (3/13)…tossed two and 2/3 of an inning at UC Irvine (3/16)…threw three innings before giving up a walk-off home run at Cal State Fullerton (3/18)…tossed 0.2 IP against Liberty (3/22)…appeared at Iowa (3/26)…struck out one in one and 1/3 against High Point (4/2)…struck out one in 2/3 of an inning against High Point (4/3)…tossed a scoreless inning against James Madison (4/6)…notched an inning of work against Ohio State (4/8)…struck out both batters he faced against Purdue (4/24)…tossed 1/3 of an inning against Rutgers (5/15)…made his last career appearance against Iowa in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals (5/28).

As a Junior (2015): Made a career-high 27 appearances with four starts…posted a 2.74 ERA with 58 strikeouts in 62 and 1/3 innings pitched, all career bests…held opponents to a .219 average…notched four wins and a save…made his first appearance of the season and threw 2/3 of an inning scoreless against Canisius (2/14)…struck out four and allowed just one hit in two innings against UCF (2/21)…earned his first career save with 2/3 of an inning scoreless versus Appalachian State…did not give up an earned run over a five game span that included two inning outings against Nebraska (4/4, 4/5) and George Washington (4/8)…tossed a five and 2/3 innings against Iowa and struck out five to end that stretch…earned the first win of his career with six innings of one run relief with six strikeouts against Cal State Fullerton (4/18)…made his first career start against Purdue (4/24) and threw seven innings of two-run ball with a career-high 10 strikeouts to earn the win…made two more starts on the year against Indiana (5/2) and Ohio State (5/9)…helped the Terps snap Illinois’ 27-game winning streak with a scoreless inning against the Illini (5/21)…earned his third win with an inning and 1/3 of scoreless relief against Indiana (5/23) in the Big Ten semifinals…held the Terps’ lead in the first game of the Los Angeles Regional against Ole Miss (5/29)…tossed four and 1/3 innings and gave up just one hit to earn the win against top overall seed UCLA in the LA Regional (5/30)…threw a career-high seven and 2/3 innings against Virginia in the Charlottesville Super Regional. 

As a Sophomore (2014): Made six appearances out of the bullpen … finished 0-1 with a 9.95 ERA … made his season debut at James Madison (2/25) and pitched a perfect inning with one strikeout … struck out two in a scoreless inning of relief at George Mason (4/8) … pitched two no-hit innings in the series opener at Pittsburgh (5/9) … pitched 1-1/3 innings against North Carolina (5/24) at the ACC Tournament.

As a Redshirt Freshman (2013): Made eight appearances out of the bullpen … finished with a 6.23 ERA and four strikeouts in 4-1/3 innings pitched … threw a perfect inning of relief in game one of a doubleheader against Princeton (3/2) … pitched a no-hit inning at North Carolina (4/5) and in game two of a doubleheader of Virginia Tech (4/20).

As a Freshman (2012): Served a redshirt season.

At St. Dominic: Named to the All-Northeast second team as a senior ... named All-League and first team All-American in 2010 and 2011 (NSCHAA) ... helped team win league championship in 2009 ... graduated with a 3.95 grade-point average ... was school, FBLA and student council president.

Personal: Robert Epperson Galligan ... son of Brian and Deborah ... has two brothers, Gregory and Grant ... favorite sports hero is Anthony Papio...graduated with a degree in economics and is currently pursuing a masters degree in supply chain management.
